Holmlands appointed for second successive investor event

Updated: Jan 29

We are pleased to announce Holmlands have been appointed by leading adventure travel specialists, Much Better Adventures, to create a bespoke event for their investors - following their latest successful crowdfunding campaign.

The event is the second time we have been enlisted by Much Better Adventures, after running a successful evening of storytelling inspired by adventure last year, following their first crowdfunding campaign - which saw the company smash their funding target in just 72 hours.

This summer, Much Better Adventures have once again beaten their latest funding target, with Holmlands working closely with the MBA team to curate a night to celebrate and inspire their latest group of investors.

The evening will take place at Waterloo City Farm in Central London on Thursday September 19th - a transformed strip of wasteland in the heart of the city, providing a habitat for people to learn more about nature and the environment.

Our headline speaker is British adventure athlete, Laura Kennington - a strong believer in the positive impact that adventure and sport can have on people, Laura uses her human powered journeys as a platform to inspire and encourage others to get outside more.

Laura's talk will be proceeded by a special screening of "Amazigh" - a film that focuses on the people of the Atlas Mountain and the significant environmental and economic changes they face.

We are also delighted to be joined by Kari Furre, Co Founder of the Outdoor Swimming Society for a special screening of the award winning short film "Chasing the Sublime".

Guests will be welcomed by live music from incredibly talented signer song writer Zac Pajak; with drinks supplied by adventure loving - vegan friendly and gluten free beer brand - Jubel.

We will also be joined on the night by charity partners Cool Earth and Traid.
