Inspiring the next generation

Today we were invited to attend a special careers days for year eight pupils at Fulham Boys School, offering some insight and advice about a possible career in public relations and events.

We participated in a speed networking event, alongside football coaches, actors, doctors and airline pilots, as the boys quizzed us on what we wanted to do when we were younger, how we started our careers in the the media and what a typical week in PR looked like.

Assistant Headteacher, Benjamin Maddison said, "The impact upon the boys has been immediate and profound. I have never met an adult who received good careers advice and experience during their schooling and this is something that we are trying to address at FBS."

It was our pleasure to attend the event and hopefully inspire some of the boys to consider a career in public relations - although we're sure the Football Coaches from Chelsea FC captured more of their imagination!
