Following the success of our MSP Films screenings in the UK this autumn, we are truly delighted to be working with the team from Fjallakofinn, as we head to Reykjavik next month to present the Icelandic premiere of "Drop Everything" on December 13th.

This special presentation follows our screenings of the award winning film in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham throughout November; and marks our second international event of 2017, after Premiering "Ruin and Rose" in Verbier, Switzerland in February.

Fjallakofinn, aka. "The Mountain Hut", is an outdoor retail store with high quality outdoors products. The company and its staff have extensive experience in outdoor activities. Whether you're going for short or long walks or larger expeditions, the hut is the place to start, providing all the necessary equipment for good outdoor activities from many well-known and respected manufacturers. The team also know a thing or two about Iceland and what to expect when travelling in their beautiful country.

Owner of Fjallakofinn, Halldór Hreinsson reached out to Holmlands last month and flew over with his team especially for our UK Premiere of Drop Everything in London on November 2nd.

Holmlands Founder and Director Cameron Hall says, "Having the opportunity to expand our events into new countries provides an incredibly exciting opportunity for Holmlands. Iceland is a country of tremendous natural beauty and has a community that holds a deep passion for outdoor life; making it the perfect location for a screening of such a visually stunning and action packed film. Working with the team from Fjallakofinn is the perfect partnership as we share the same passions and values. We can't wait to "Drop Everything" in Reykjavik next month for our most exciting screening event to date."

The screening will be held at Bíó Paradís, Hverfisgata 52, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland on Wednesday December 13th, with doors open from 7pm. The event will include a special prize draw with 100% of profits going directly to Ljósið - a local rehabilitation and support centre for people who have had cancer and their relatives.

Tickets are available online here, with regular event updates via our Facebook event page here.
