19th - 25th March 2019 saw us host our second annual Four Seasons Film Festival - a boutique festival in celebration of independent film and stories inspired by adventure. 

 

The sold out festival took place in Central London across six nights and three venues - with screenings held at the BFI Film Forever and Charlotte Street Hotel - followed by an award ceremony at The Soho Hotel.

 

The event showcased the full spectrum of human emotion, endeavour and accomplishment  through a series of ground-breaking and inspiring outdoor adventure and environmentally focused shorts and features - alongside a series of live Q&A sessions filmmakers and athletes. 

 

Screening several UK Premieres - we were delighted to be joined by personalities including world record breaking ocean rowers Megan Hoskin and Cazz Lander from the all-female Pacific Terrific crew, who feature in the short film "Why Row An Ocean?"

 

Adventurer, ultra runner and star of short film "All That's There", Jamie Maddison was also in attendance, enthralling guests with tales about his nomadic life in Kazakstan and Uzbekista.  

 

Ocean Rower, Lia Ditton flew all the way over from the US for the premiere of "Perseverance - California Coast Row" detailing her journey from San Francisco to Santa Barbara, having rowed over 350 miles in just 12.5 days.

Pro Skier Nat Segal virtually introduced 'Finding the Line' a feature documentary about Nat and her X Games and Olympic skiing sister Anna who go on a quest to define and understand fear; with British Olympic Skier Peter Speight also present to introduce his own short film 'Sheffield to South Korea'.

Over 100 guests attended the awards evening on the final night, with excellent live music provided by the amazing We Are All Fossils - as we wrapped up the festival with an evening of prizes, partying and celebration.
