We were honored to welcome one of the most accomplished free ride skiers in the world to Reykjavik on Wednesday 28th November, as Eric Hjorleifson joined us for the Icelandic Premiere of his self titled bio pic "Hoji." Having a long established career with Matchstick Productions dating back to 2004 - Eric visited Iceland, the home of his ancestors, for the very first time on the final stop of his world tour. The audience were wowed by his skiing and passion for the sport - with the screening followed by a special Q&A.

Ahead of our Icelandic Premiere of "HOJI" we invited a small number of guests to join us and our principal partners Fjallakofinn at their flagship store in Reykjavik for a private meet and greet with the main man himself.

Eric Hjorleifson lets his skiing speak for itself. He doesn’t stand on the bar and shout out his accolades. He skis for brands that give him 100% creative control over the equipment that he designs and uses. He chases storms. He ditches his cell phone for weeks at a time. His exploits are rarely flaunted on social media. In spite of all of this – or maybe because of it – he is a hero to legions of skiers across the globe. This is who Eric is – this is “HOJI.”
