Holmlands Adventure Film Festival London 2026

On Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th September 2026, we were proud to bring the Holmlands Adventure Film Festival to Charlotte Street Hotel in London for two special evenings celebrating independent adventure filmmaking from around the world.

Across two nights, audiences joined us in the hotel's luxury screening room to experience 13 films on the big screen, including nine UK Premieres and a World Premiere, with stories spanning skiing, winter expeditions, climbing, trail running, wild camping, freediving, wingsuit flying, kayaking and adaptive mountain biking.

These screenings marked the return of our film festival events to the big screen following the pandemic, making them a particularly special moment for us as we begin to build our festival once again.

Opening night on Thursday featured Best Day Ever, We Wild Camp, Hunter's Moon, One Breath, Volver a mí and The Itinerant, taking audiences from the mountains of the United States to the forests and coastlines of Europe and beyond.

We were also delighted to welcome filmmakers Max Jabs & Clive Phillips to London, who joined us to share more about their respective films Volver a mí & No One Rides Alone.

Friday's programme featured a further seven films, including the World Premiere of Birdlife alongside UK Premieres of Born of Ice, Kids, La Trace and Dick's-A-Thon, as well as A Baffin Vacation, Love on Ice and Road 138, with Director of La Trace Clément Lefer joining us from France to introduce his short film.

Adding to the atmosphere across both evenings, we were joined by live musicians Sam Horan on Thursday and We Are All Fossils on Friday, who performed in the screening room before the films.

It was brilliant to see the screening room filled with filmmakers, adventurers, friends and film lovers across both nights, and to create a space where audiences could come together to experience these stories, meet filmmakers and share their own passion for adventure.

A sincere thank you goes to everyone who purchased a ticket and came along to support the festival.
