Holmlands returned to the Ham Yard Theatre for the third year in a row, with the exclusive London screening of MSP Films latest epic movie "Ruin and Rose."
Ruin and Rose is another 4K Ultra HD creative vision from the Matchstick Production stable, brought to life by the talents of the world’s top skiers including Mark Abma, Markus Eder, Michelle Parker, Tanner Rainville and Cody Townsend amongst many others.
Winter landscapes across the planet contrast seamlessly with a thoroughly-crafted story of environmental apocalypse, shot entirely within the incredible expanses of Africa’s otherworldly Skeleton Coast. Unlike anything seen before, the dreamlike setting of this film sparks the imagination of not only action sports enthusiasts, but anyone with a beating heart.
In partnership with Pure Powder and Surefoot London, our exclusive screening saw a full crowd enjoy a night of exceptional cinematography.
We had plenty of fun and games too, as we continued with our traditional interval prize draw. We also held our special Surefoot Challenge to win a pair of custom fit ski boots, with a game of musical chairs on stage to determine the winner!
A very special thanks goes to Millie Knight, ParalympicsGB youngest Sochi 2014 Winter Paralympian, and GB flag bearer. The 2016 World Cup downhill and SG champion and 2015 WC GS champion, kindly took part in a live interview ahead of the screening, discussing her Paralympic experience, the support she receives from Disability Snowsport UK and her ambitions for the future.
With special thanks to:
Surefoot London, Pure Powder, Disability Snowsport UK, Ski Club Great Britain, Chilly Powder, Jack & Jill Holidays, Retro Mountain, Mojo Clothing, Basecamp Group, The Ski Network, Therapy Holistic and Beauty, Astor and Barth and Millie Knight
