Holmlands rally behind Paralympic hero

Holmlands client, Winter Paralympian and rally car driver, Chris Lloyd took to the roads of County Cork this weekend in the annual West Cork Rally - as we were proud to support Chris and his team at the event.

Chris, who was left paralysed from the neck down following a rally car crash in 2011, went on to make a remarkable recovery.

Having been told he would never be able to drive a rally car or ski again following his accident - Chris proved his medical consultants wrong on both fronts.

After competing for his country at the Winter Paralympics in South Korea in the men's Super G and Downhill events, Chris is back behind the wheel of a rally car, racing with Melvyn Evans Motorsport.

Holmlands were delighted to support Chris at the rally - which saw him and his navigator finish 10th and 2nd in their class respectively.

It was our privilege to have the Holmlands logo emblazoned on Chris's car - as we continue to be inspired and amazed by his adventurous endeavors.
