CMH Heli-Skiing Cariboos film and photo shoot in Canada
We ended 2023 by flying out to Canada to conduct a film and photoshoot for leading UK heli-ski specialists Pure Powder, helping to capture the full experience of their holiday adventures at one of their key destinations - the CMH Heli-Skiing Cariboos Lodge, near Valemont in Northern British Columbia.
We joined a small group of guests for a two day warm up in Sun Peaks Resort on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, before making the 320km journey to the CMH Heli-Skiing pick up location, where we met the remaining guests - as our 35 strong group were flown to the lodge by helicopter.
Our brief was multifaceted; including capturing ski photography of the group, so they could look back on their memories from the week with some great shots of themselves in action; whilst also capturing additional marketing and promotional photography for Pure Powder and CMH Heli-Skiing to use more widely, helping to refresh their digital assets bank.
In addition we were tasked to produce several videos, resulting in numerous outputs - including a vlog style video of the week and some more evergreen content about the location, overall heli-skiing experience, lodge life and facilities.
In total the full assignment consisted of 10 days shooting on location, inclusive of travel, two days of resort skiing and five days of heli-skiing; with Holmlands delivering over 400 high resolution images and eleven video outputs in total.
The Pure Powder team and CMH Heli-Skiing guides certainly found the best of the January snow, in an action packed week, that we were proud to be appointed to capture.
