Revelstoke film project partnership agreed

Blue gondola car on a snowy mountain

We are extremely delighted and excited to announce that Holmlands latest film project sees us partner with Tourism Revelstoke and Revelstoke Mountain Resort for the creation of a new film "The Revelstoke Diaries".

We will be shooting the short film in British Columbia this December, speaking with local people who live and work in one of Canada's most stunning year round destinations, reflecting different aspects of mountain life.

Located on the banks of the Columbia River, Revelstoke's history dates back to the late 1800's, during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway.

Fast forward to more than a century later, when Revelstoke Mountain Resort opened it's lifts for the first time in 2007 - becoming the home of the longest vertical descent of any ski resort in North America.

As the town continues to grow, our short film will help tell the behind the scenes story of the transition of Revelstoke from a traditional railroad community to a global mecca for outdoor sports enthusiasts.

Are you based in Revelstoke? Do you have an interesting story to tell or know someone from the Revelstoke community who does? If you would like to be part of the project, feel free to e-mail us here with a short description as to why you feel your story should be included in the film.

We also have a number of sponsorship packages available for brands who would like to support the project. For more information contact us here.

The Revelstoke Diaries is set for release in early 2020. Stay tuned to the Holmlands channels for updates.
