We are very proud of Holmlands client, Millie Knight who has made the top-four shortlist for the Young Sportswoman of the Year accolade at the Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards!

Millie, who was crowned World Para Alpine Downhill Champion earlier this year, has been shortlisted alongside fellow inspirational young sports women Freya Anderson (Swimming), Ellie Downie (Artistic Gymnastics) and Sammi Kinghorn (Para-Athletics).

Millie says, "I feel so honoured to be nominated for the Young Sportswoman of the Year Award! 2017 has been my biggest and toughest year to date, and to be recognised by the Sunday Times and Vitality is a huge privilege. There’s a big team behind me, and in no small part this nomination is also for them, with special recognition to my amazing guide, Brett Wild. There’s a long way to go and a lot of hard work to come if we want to achieve our goals, but I feel so proud to have received this nomination, amongst a group of truly inspiring young sportswomen."

The Sportswomen of the Year Awards are among the most prestigious and influential in the British sporting calendar. The awards, now in their 30th year, have led the way in recognising and celebrating the outstanding contribution to sport made by elite athletes, coaches, administrators, community volunteers and inspirational women.

The awards, in association with Vitality, are being held on Thursday October 26, 2017 in London.

From us all at Holmlands we would like to wish Millie the very best of luck!
