Holmlands making headlines

In the build up to our autumn events series this November - Holmlands have been making headlines to help promote our sixth annual screening series with Matchstick Productions.

National ski publications In The Snow Magazine and Fall Line Skiing Magazine both featured articles on our presentations of "Return to Send'er" in London, Edinburgh and Penrith; whilst our Founder and Director, Cameron Hall, spoke with his local newspapers, magazines, radio stations and TV channels in regard to our special screening in Cumbria - the county where he grew up and the Holmlands story began.

From humble beginnings learning to ski on the dry ski slope at his school in the Lake District as a teenager, Cameron went on to become a professional ski instructor - teaching in resorts around the world before moving to work in the media. Combining his passions, Holmlands was born and our first ever event was hosting an exclusive film screening for Matchstick Productions in London.

More than 30 events later, we decided to bring our events series to Cumbria for the first time, with Cameron speaking with BBC Radio Cumbria, ITV Border News, That's TV Cumbria, CFM Radio, In Cumbria Magazine, The Northwest Evening Mail, Cumberland and Westmoreland Herald, The Keswick Reminder, Cumbria 24, St.Bees News and Cumbria Crack, about how the county he grew up in created a platform to develop a career in adventure sports and give birth to the creation of Holmlands - with the aim of inspiring people in the county to go deeper into their own passions.
